Blue Automatic Gates started with a simple idea: give Bay Area homeowners and businesses a gate company they could actually trust — one that shows up on time, does the work right the first time, and stands behind what it builds.

Over 15 years later, that's still how we operate. We've installed more than 500 gates across six Bay Area counties — from Menlo Park driveways to San Francisco commercial properties to Santa Clara industrial facilities. Every single one was designed and built in our Menlo Park fabrication shop.

How We Got Here

From a two-man crew to a full Bay Area operation — our story in milestones.

2009

Company Founded in Menlo Park

Blue Automatic Gates launches with a two-person crew and a rented shop space on Jefferson Drive. First 20 gates installed in San Mateo County.

2013

Expanded to Santa Clara & Alameda Counties

Growing reputation leads to commercial contracts in San Jose and Oakland. We hire our first full fabrication crew and expand the shop.

2016

Access Control & Automation Division Launched

We add LiftMaster, FAAC, and BFT automation systems to our lineup, along with full keypad, intercom, and camera integration services.

2019

100th Commercial Project Completed

We celebrate our 100th commercial gate installation — a sliding security gate for a logistics facility in Fremont. Bay Area coverage now spans all six counties.

2025

500+ Gates Installed & Going Strong

We're still doing it the same way we always have — one gate at a time, one satisfied customer at a time. Based in Menlo Park, serving the entire Bay Area.
